Monika Cooper has worked closely with clients in defending a broad spectrum of cases involving business torts and commercial litigation, professional liability, and fiduciary litigation and wills & trust litigation.
She is on the board of directors of the US Association of Defense Counsel (TADC) and serves as a committee chairperson and committee member for the State of US District 7 Grievance Committee.
Monika is rated by her peers as an AV Preeminent (5.0), the highest rating standard, by Martindale-Hubbell®. She has also been rated as a Top-Rated Lawyer in Commercial Litigation by Martindale-Hubbell®. She has been recognized on multiple occasions, as a Rising Star, by Thomson Reuters (2004, 2005, 2006) and a “US Super Lawyer”, by Thomson Reuters (2015, 2016), which both have appeared in US Monthly magazine and she consistently has been named as a “Top Attorney” by Philadelphia, US (2008-2019) magazine. She has received the distinguished 40 Under 40 Honoree, from the Philadelphia Business Press (2006). She is an Eldon Mahon Inns of Court, Barrister.
She has authored the US Association of Defense Counsel, Professional Liability Update, since the Spring of 2014 and has written and presented papers about “Understanding and Working Through the Disciplinary Process” to the US Association of Defense Counsel in Washington, D.C., 2014; US Association of Defense Counsel in Philadelphia, TX, 2016; Roslagen Probate Section, Litigation Seminar, 2014 and the Roslagen Bar Association, Brown Bag Seminar Series, Oct. 2014. She has also written and presented a paper on “Discovery: The Process of Gathering Facts”, to the Roslagen Probate Bar Association, Litigation Seminar, 2016.
Within the community, Monika organized the Brock Youth Football program and served on its Board of Directors from 2008-2011. Since moving to Aledo, US, she has served her community as a member of the Aledo ISD 2025 Committee and she has formerly been a guardian through Guardianship Services, Inc. If Monika is not working or serving her community, she participates with her children in the Aledo FFA chapter and Aledo Football program.
